Should I Own An Electric Car? Why?
I think we have to admit that at some point of the future, we will all be driving electric cars. We will run out of petrol right? Don’t worry, we still have time to adapt ourselves. We still have enough petrol. At least for now.
For now, why not find out why you should buy an electric car for yourself? I know most of us are still hesitating to buy an electric car.

1) Electric Car Benefits The Environment
It’s pretty obvious right? Since electric cars run on electricity, and do not consume fuels, not to mention not having the exhaust system, they produce no emissions. There would be no greenhouse effect.
Things will get even better as they are cleaner than petrol or diesel engines and don’t worry about the batteries. Technology will improve and the battery recycling will become better and more efficient.
2) Electricity is Cheaper.
Our hearts sank each time we saw the price of petrol increase right? They are only getting more and more expensive. Use electric cars, they run on electricity and the bills for electricity used for electric cars are cheaper than the cost of petrol.
What’s even better, some electric cars can even retrieve some of the energy lost during driving. What a good cost saving when you transform from the usage of petrol or diesel car to electric car.
3) Electric Car Can Be Powered With Renewable Energy
Yes, yes yes, I know, some of you will say even electricity has to come from somewhere right? Like the usage of coal to produce energy.
Have you ever heard of renewable energy? Wind, solar and water. They can generate electricity too. Most importantly, they are a clean energy source.
Perhaps you can install solar panels in your home to power your electric car and some other home appliance. Seems like free energy for your car to me. You know, in Malaysia, we do receive a lot of sunlight throughout the year. They are free.
4) Easier Maintenance
With an electric car, maintenance will be easier for you. Their build up are different you know? You don’t have to worry about the oil changes, pumps, oil filter, and those other things you usually do with the internal combustion engine.
Just make sure the battery works well for your electric car. See, you focus on lesser things for your electric car. Save you your time and your list of things to do.
5) Electric Car is Quiet
Electric cars are so quiet, omg, like so “stealth”. Just joking. Yes, they are quieter than your normal petrol or diesel engine.
The only noise you hear are those made due to the wind or the tire. Those sounds are also very quiet unless they are driving at higher speed.
Guess the only bad thing is that people can’t notice you easily now. You might need to sound your horn. *Beep Beep*
